BLACKBURN with Darwen Borough Council Leisure kick off their defence of the Orphanage Cup when the annual works football competition gets under way on Monday, March 26.
The holders play EPT in one of two preliminary round matches at Pleasington Playing Fields (5.30pm ko).
The other match sees 2012 runners-up Totally Wicked take on ENWL.
There will be two first round matches taking place on the same night with Blackburn Rovers Community Trust facing Marston PLC and Paradigm taking on Huhtamaki.
Two-time winners Ultraframe and 2016 champions Senator are involved in two of the four first round ties on Wednesday, March 28.
Ultraframe, winners in 2003 and 2004, face last year’s runners-up WEC while Senator, who beat Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council Leisure in the final two years ago, take on Wincanton.
The other two ties see CM Oxendale play BWDBC Building and Teal take on Kaman.
The first round concludes on Monday, April 9 when Blackburn Rovers Staff face the winners of the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council Leisure and EPT tie while NHS await the winners of the match between Totally Wicked and ENWL. Both of these matches kick off at 6pm.
