COLNE & Nelson secured a battling 26-16 victory over Trafford Metrovick.
The East Lancas-hire side were in front on 10 only to see Trafford hit back to lead 6-5.
Trafford then added a try before the break to extend their advantage to six points.
But it was a very different Colne team in the second half as skipper Luke Edwards scored early on with Dean Edwards converting.
Seven minutes from time Conner Kinnane scored and almost immediately Colne added a third try thanks to Adam Padgett.
Although the visitors responded in the last minute Colne had done enough to secure the points.
