HARRY Burrows produced a ‘four-some’ display of goal scoring power as Readstone United Under 15s maintained their perfect start to the season in the East Lancashire Football Alliance.

The Under 15s Green division leaders made it three wins out of three after beating Rossendale Valley 8-0 - with Burrows scoring four times.

Jack Pearson scored twice with further goals from Thomas Blanchard and George Taylor.

Hyndburn Youth also had the shooting boots and they too had a four-goal hero in the shape of Oliver Erber in the big win at Fulledge Colts.

Erber led the goal charge with four while while Joel Allan, Daniel Brown, Aaron Caulfield, Jack McLoughlin, Daniel Oxford and Rhys Fielding were also on target.

Briercliffe Rovers Black are up to third place thanks to a 6-3 win at Pendle Forest.

Adam Boyle and Benjamin Goodfellow each bagged a brace while Benjamin Beck and Lewis Hughes were also among the goal scorers.

Rossendale United made it back to back wins following a narrow 2-0 victory over Darwen Rangers to follow up last weekend’s impressive 5-3 success against Hyndburn Youth.

In the Under 15s Red division, the top flight in the age group, Mill Hill are the only side with a 100 per cent record following their 2-0 win against Colne FC.

Noel Byrne and Keaton Cosgrove got the goals that keeps them two points clear of Feniscowles and Pleasington who beat Rishton United 4-1 thanks to a Cameron Austin hat-trick.

Charles Chillingworth also scored for Pleasington who are unbeaten after three games.

Third-placed Briercliffe Rovers are also unbeaten but their second draw in three outings - the latest a 0-0 stalemate with Whalley Juniors - sees them a further two points behind.
