THE game of the day in Division One was Intack and Mill Hill, and Intack proved that they will be a force to be reckoned with this season; in a very competitive game they edged past Mill Hill with a goal four minutes from time.

Intack now top the league by four points, Whinney Hill edged out Beehive in a seven goal thriller at Altham.

In Division Two, Whinney Hill Colts top the league after a hard fought 2-1 victory over Brownhill Arms.

But it is very tight in the division with only six points separate the leaders and the side next to bottom which shows how competitive it will be this season.

Craven Heifer stretched their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-2 draw with Stanhill who themselves remain unbeaten in the league.

Hare and Hounds had a good 3-1 victory over The Anchor who are still searching for their first points while Park FC and Oswaldtwistle turned on a goals feast as the Great Harwood side edged home in a 6-5 win.

Helmshore Harriers claimed their first win in a 2-1 score line against Stanley Ultras.

The Mill Hill Car Centre third division will be a very close affair with all sides more than capable of beating each other. Rosehill currently head the pack after a 3-0 win against Ewood Blues who have had a tough start having played two of the top three teams in succession.

Brown Cow Olympic had a 4-0 win over Sunnybank while Entwistle continued their unbeaten start with a 2-1 win over Brown Cow. Prince of Wales overcame Rishton Rangers 3-2.

This division is exactly the same as the second division as again six points separate the top and next to bottom with only The Crown waiting to claim their first league points.
