THE Lancashire Sunday League gets its 2015/16 season underway this weekend with cup and league action.

While the Premier Division teams begin the league campaign on Sunday, the remaining sides are all in Syndicate Trust Challenge Cup action as the preliminary round gets underway.

AFC Ingol did the treble last season, adding the Syndicate Trust Cup and LFA Sunday Trophy to their league title, and they will get their league season underway with a trip to fellow Preston side BAC Continental Casuals.

Elsewhere in the top flight AFC Longridge are at home to Ingol Rovers, while New Longton Rovers host the Grange.

Newly promoted Ashton Villa have a home game at the UCLan Sports Arena, with AFC Ashwood the visitors.

The final Premier Division game takes place at London Road as Unicorn play host to New Farington House.

If the scores are still level the tie will then go to penalties.
