ROSSENDALE will kick off their National League Three North campaign with an away trip to Wirral on Saturday, September 5.

Dale's first home game of the season will be against Birkenhead Park who were promoted as champions from North One West last season.

Danny Collins, who is the new player/head coach at Mark Pits then have a tough trip to Stockport who were relegated for National League Two last season.

Rossendale, who have recruited Mark Nelson as a consultant coach from Sale Sharks, complete their campaign with a home game against Wirral on Saturday, April 23.

Newly-promoted Blackburn will have baptism of fire when they play host to Kirkby Lonsdale in their first game in North One West.

Head coach Dino Radice then takes his side to Warrington before hosting Eccles. Kendal away on Saturday, December 12 will be a date for the diary for Radice who played National League rugby during his time at the Cumbrian club.

The Ramsgreave Drive club complete their season with the return clash with Kirkby Lonsdale.

A close season restructuring of the lower divisions mean Burnley, Pendle and Colne and Nelson will all compete in the

Lancashire (North) Division.

Last season, Burnley competed in North Lancs League One. Pendle were promoted from North Lancs League Two are champions, a division that also included Colne and Nelson and Clitheroe.

Burnley kick off with a home clash with Bury while Pendle host Garstang. Colne and Nelson make the trip up the coast to Thornton Cleveleys.

The first local derby of the season sees Colne and Nelson host Burnley on Saturday, September 19 while Pendle's first away trip is to Hutton.

Saturday, November 21 sees the highly anticipated clash between Pendle and Burnley with the return taking place on Saturday, April 9.

BURNLEY Rugby Club will be running its second Summer Holiday camp for four days next month with the emphasis on fun, games enjoyment and competitions which develop rugby skills.

The camp is open to boys and girls aged 7 to 11 years old .

It will be held on Thursday and Friday, August 27-28 (9am -3pm). the cost £15 a day or £25 for both days.
