FIT2XL Boxing Club enjoyed a treble of victories on shows across the North West recently.
The club’s fantastic fighting week began with Eamon Rielly enjoying a stunning debut victory - knocking out Jack Pilling from Paramount ABC in Stockport after just 28 seconds.
The following night, Jordan Butterworth stepped into the ring with Sam Ashworth from Littleborough ABC and out boxed him in every department which reflected in the result with Buttterworth gaining a unanimous decision.
And if things couldn’t get any better, Ali Akhtar boxed on Saturday in the North West finals against Lerone Harrison - a very skilled boxer and former Minors ABA national champion .
In a close contest, Ali got the split decision win, crowning him the new North West champion and will now compete in the National Championship.
