GEORGE IV completed a Burnley Sunday League cup double after beating Ultra Finishing 5-2 to win the Towneley Cup - four weeks after lifting the Premier Division Cup.
Marc Schofield headed George in to a 20th minute lead when he rose to convert a whipped in cross from Andy Arkwright.
Schofield then added a second on 32 minutes heading in a Kieron Carroll corner.
Carroll himself was on the score sheet just three minutes later, slotting the ball past the Ultra keeper Pilling for a rare right-footed goal.
Just before half time Carroll was played in again for a more orthodox left-footed strike to put George IV 4-0 up at the break.
Ultra pulled one back through Gary Hodgkinson but George restored their four goal advantage when Josh Maxwell poked home a Rob Taylor header.
It ended Ultra’s mini revival but they had the consolation of scoring the goal of the game when Kev Tomlinson let fly from a 20 yards.
