GREAT Britain judo star Nathon Burns was back on his home patch when a delivered a master class at Beach Judokwai - a club founded and run by his dad Joe.
Burns, who is hoping to compete at the Rio Olympics, was back in his native Blackburn where he delivered an excellent warm up and then took the seniors for 20 minutes working different gripping strategies - including with his brother Joshua.
This was a first for all the seniors learning from one of the best and up-to-date Judoka’s in the UK if not Europe.
Having put the seniors through a tough 20 minutes it was then the turn of the juniors, this he did with plenty of fun in mind.
“It was great to have Nathon back at the club and all the seniors and juniors really enjoyed learning something new.” said Burns Senior.
