TOP scorer David Wieczorek fired another hat trick as Blackburn’s senior side overwhelmed Golborne 5-0.

It was easy for ‘Burn as Louis McCabe and Jack Caton added further goals as once again Blackburn’s firepower proved too much for the opposition.

Blackburn’s second string also enjoyed a fine win, with Chris Hamill, Jerome Duxbury, Dominic Grady and Andy Taylor all on the mark in a 4-2 win over Preston.

Duxbury was also on the score sheet a day later, the second string held two each by Lytham St Annes’ thirds. Paul Morrison also scored while Samuel Knott landed the man of the match prize.

Meanwhile, the ladies first team also enjoyed success with Steph Bedford scoring twice and Kerry Horne also netting against Springfields. The Ladies’ seconds beat Southport 5-1, with Emma Louise Litton, Pauline Moorby (2), Anna Leigh and Rachel Box on target.
