DAVID Lloyd Chorley Firsts are halfway to securing their first North West Counties Squash League title.
The newly-formed team made it a perfect 11 wins out of 11 as they broke for the festive period with a resounding 20-2 win over Heswall Firsts.
DL Chorley now hold a commanding 39 point over Grove Park Firsts and are firm favourites win win the First Division title.
The night was pretty straight forward with only team captain Chris Lengthorn having to dig deep to get a 3-2 win and keep his unbeaten record clean. James Earle beat Courtney West 3-0, dropping just 11 points, winning 11-2, 11-5, 11-4.
Danny Massaro was equally as dominate in his 3-0 win, racing to a 11-3, 11-9, 11-5 victory.
It was anything but straight forward for Lengthorn eventually beating Mark Beecham 11-6, 4-11, 11-8, 4-11, 11-5 Guhan Senthikumar beat Mark Prescott 11-7, 11-4, 11-4 and Isaac Rawcliffe went on to defeat Tom Clark 18-16, 11-7. 11-2
