ONLY two games survived the big freeze in the Premier Division, but Burnley United clocked up their second away win of the campaign as hot-shot Jack Brooks fired them to victory at Euxton Villa.

There was nothing between these two evenly matched sides in the first half, before Oliver Wood edged Burnley in front five minutes after half-time.

However their lead was a short lived one as Daniel Hogg levelled it on the hour for Villa. Then Brooks struck deep into the second half to hand Burnley a rare away success.

Coppull United won 4-2 at Fleetwood Hesketh which saw them climb out of the bottom half of the table.

Danny Fisher opened the scoring for Coppull before Nathan Fairhurst doubled their lead.

Mitch Leece finished the job with two goals late on, while Simon Hill and Mike Brown netted for the home side.

In Division One, Hurst Green slipped to fourth place after their game against Dalton United was off and Fulwood Amateurs went top after a 7-0 win over Hawcoat Park.
