IT CERTAINLY was a day to remember for all those teams who took part in the U19s Lancashire Boccia Championships held in Blackburn – with a large contingent from East Lancashire among those competing.
In the Lord’s Taverners Physical Disability competition, Crosshill School, St Paul’s RC Primary were flying the flag for local schools.
The area was well represented in the Pan Disability competition with St Matthews Primary, Roe Lee Park Primary, St Thomas’ Primary, Our Lady & St John High School, Darwen Aldridge Community Academy, Feniscowles Primary, Longshaw Juniors, Wensley Fold Primary Daisyfield Primary, Shadsworth Juniors, St Bedes Specialist Sports College, Cedars Primary, St Francis’ Primary, Crosshill School, St James’ Primary and Meadowhead Junior School all taking part.
