VICKY Coope's hat-trick helped a rampant Chorley Ladies side book a semi-final spot in the Lancashire Cup after a resounding 8-0 victory over Southport.
Coope led the scoring in a dominant Chorley performance which also saw Sarah Berry net a brace while Gabriella Difalco, Scarlet Smith and Katherine Bonner were also on target.
The result means Chorley will travel to Morecambe in the last four.
Chorley made light work of a heavy pitch to take an early lead when Difalco lofted a shot over the Southport keeper.
Smith doubled the lead with a fine low finish before Coope got the first of her treble after excellent approach play by Janet Dawson.
After the break Berry got in on the act before quickfire goals from Bonner and Coope put the result beyond doubt.
There was still time for Berry to net her second while Coope had the final say as she converted a penalty to complete the scoring.
Chorley are back in league action this weekend when they host Tranmere Rovers at Charnock Richard.
