WINNING world kick boxing titles is child's play for all-conquering Chloe Love.

The 20-year-old has just been crowned world champion for the 12th time - a feat made all the more remarkable as she had just returned to action following the birth of her son.

For Chloe's latest title came just months after returning to training at Alf's Blackbelt Academy after her first child Braxton was born.

Incredibly, her 11th title in 2012 came when she was four weeks pregnant!

The kick boxing queen first struck gold when she was eight-years-old but, given the circumstances, the latest one beats the lot.

"After missing out last year, this one is definitely my greatest achievement," said Chloe. "To win another world title after having my first child felt really special."

After realising she was pregnant, Chloe continued to do light training and helped out coaching at the Stacksteads-based club, founded and run by her dad Alf Love, up until the birth of her son.

"I kept training because I didn't want anyone to know I was pregnant," added Chloe. "But once everyone knew I just carried on coaching and did that for as long as I could."

Chloe was only out of the gym for eight weeks but missed out on competing in last year's World Championships.

However, she worked hard to get back to her best and so it proved as she won three gold medals and a bronze at this year's World Championships in Dublin, the highlight winning the individual light contact title - and crown she has called her own since her first victory 12 years ago.

She has won the title at junior, cadet and senior level, has 16 world titles in total and has amassed more 30 medals on the biggest stage of all.

She also won gold in the semi contact and contact team events and a bronze in the semi contact category.

With dad Alf, brother Scott and nephew Brandon all members of the club, Chloe expects 17-month old Braxton to follow in her footsteps.

"I was three when I first joined the club and something tells me Braxton will be even younger," she said.

"He already comes to the club with me when I am coaching and he loves to have a go on the punch bags. It would be great if he could aspire to what I have achieved."
