DARWEN Loyal Angling Club is now taking new members.

Fees are £40 for seniors, £20 for over 65s and £5 for junior which covers Hoddlesden reservoir and Jumbles reservoir.

The club has been busy in recent months, carrying out extensive work around Hoddlesden reservoir completing paths to improve access. The reservoirs themselves have also been restocked.

The club held an open fishing competition last weekend and will host another one on Saturday which is open for anyone to enter.

Also on Saturday, September 20, the club hosts in annual three man team event which again is open to all.
