Dylan Hartley may well have scored a hat-trick but it was Ross Taylor who got the deserved man of the match accolade as Rishton United Juniors beat Darwen Rangers 6-0.
The former Rangers player was instrumental in the victory and got the ball rolling with a cooly converted 30th minute penalty.
Mark Devine added a second just before the break after good work from Nathaniel Cunningham and Henry.
Henry hit the first of his treble soon after the restart with a superb header from Devine’s corner.
He added a second to make it 4-0 while Cameron McDermott slotted home Rishton’s second spot kick of the game.
It was left to Henry to complete his hat-trick and seal a convincing win.
Rishton United youngsters drew 2-2 with Crown Paints thanks to goals from Andy Hickey and Ethan Hartland.
And the Under 12s Red ran out 7-0 winners against Fulledge Colts.
But despite a spirited second half performance, the Under 12s Blue only had Munawwar Ahmed’s goal to show for it as they went down 7-1 to Wilpshire Wanderers Black.
