WILPSHIRE Golf Club held its successful Lady Captain’s Drive In event on Saturday.
There was an excellent turnout for the Stableford competition, with nine teams of three playing over nine holes in gloriously sunny conditions.
Lady captain Karen Riley got the event and her year as captain under way.
The winning team was Donna Hindle, Marion Cross and Glenda Astley with 53 points.
Helena Dean, Jane Plum and Winnie Satterthwaite came second with 49 points on a card play-off, ahead of third-placed Fiona Bristow, Sonia Scott and Doreen Tattersall.
