VICTORY Pleasington Ladies pose for the camera after clinching the LLCGA Scratch Shield with an exciting final victory over Manchester at Preston Golf Club. It came two days after winning the Handicap Shield at Childwall
Pleasington Ladies are on a high after beating Manchester by three matches to two in an exciting final of the LLCGA Scratch Shield at Preston Golf Club on Wednesday.
It came two days after they defeated Lancaster in a closely fought final of the LLCGA Handicap Shield at Childwall.
At Preston, in the morning semi-finals, Pleasington defeated Bolton Old Links 3-2 and Manchester beat Haydock Park.
Nikki Foster (4&2), Holly Vizard (3&1) and Susan Caton (5&4) all won their singles matches in the victory over Manchester.
Catherine Roberts and Louise Blahuta were also members of the winning Pleasington team.
