CHORLEY golfer Nick Dougherty has claimed his first European Tour victory in two years at the BMW International Open in Munich today.
The Shaw Hill professional had not won a tournament since the Alfred Dunhill Links in 2007 but finished first in Germany after a stunning final round.
Dougherty had gone into the last day in tied third position and recorded a round of 64 to finish on 22 under par - one shot ahead of second-placed Rafa Echenique.
