NELSON amateur Kevin Dornan and club pro Simon Eaton are bidding to qualify from the regional final of Europe’s biggest pro-am competion tomorrow - with a trip to Turkey at stake.
Dornan, 48, took a big step towards the PGA National Pro-Am grand final, held on the PGA Sultan course, when he won the club qualifier.
He and Eaton now advance to Dunham Forest where they will play one round of better-ball.
The winners will enjoy a trip to compete in the Grand Final in December.
