Rovers have announced a date for their re-arranged trip to Gillingham.

The two sides were set to meet at the Priestfield Stadium on Saturday, only for the game to be postponed because of supporter safety.

The game will now take place on Tuesday, April 10 (7.45pm).

It means Rovers will now face five away games next month, with trips to MK Dons, Bristol Rovers, Doncaster and Charlton.

Both of Rovers’ promotion rivals are in action on that night, Wigan hosting Oxford United and Shrewsbury entertaining Charlton.

A Rovers spokesperson said: “All supporters with tickets for the official club travel can keep their ticket, which will be valid for the rearranged fixture. If you cannot attend the new date you will be able to get a refund on both your match ticket and your official travel ticket.

“Tickets for the original date will be valid for the rearranged match, but those now unable to attend are entitled to a full refund via the ticket office (01254 372000).”
