Bradley Dack and Danny Graham are locked on 15 goals each, and boss Tony Mowbray believes both will have the 20 goal milestone in their sights.

The pair currently top the Rovers scoring charts, three ahead of Charlie Mulgrew, heading in to the final nine games of the campaign.

Dack and Graham have struck up a good relationship on the pitch, with Mowbray believing that is helped by the time they spend together away from the field of play.

Graham finished joint top scorer alongside Sam Gallagher last term, scoring 12 each, and of this year's battle, Mowbray said: “I don’t get involved in that, as long as we are winning games I don’t mind who is scoring the goals.

“They are both close to what is classed as the magical 20 goals, that would be a target for them I would think.

“Individually everyone will want to be top scorer, I’m sure Danny has been at most clubs he’s been at throughout his career.

“For me as long as they have more goals in their boots then I will be happy.”

On the relationship of Dack and Graham, he added: “They like each other’s company.

“They have good rapport with each other, similar sense of humour but when it comes to football they are very professional, they both want to win.

“Bradley is 24 now, he’s not a baby anymore but a lad with huge aspirations to push his career on.

“Danny, while not at the end of his career, is an experienced footballer and is working extremely hard to enjoy more good moments.

“He’s working hard to make sure he can have more good moments in his career and the rapport with Bradley is good, they are both scoring goals, have telepathic pictures of where they are on the pitch and it helps us win football matches.

“It’s good to have characters around the pitch who can help us.”

Graham passed 150 career goals last month and has become a key figure in this Rovers side since December, starting all but one of their last 16 league matches.

And Mowbray told the club website: “He’s scored goals, worked extremely hard and given us a platform.

“I think he’s done what he’s done most of his career, the focal point of the team at the top end and he’s bought in to the way that we’re wanting to play.

“He’s enjoying his football, his goals tally has shot up quite markedly in the last few months.

“At this moment he’s doing extremely well for us, he’s a leader for us out on the pitch and a voice in the dressing room so I’m delighted he’s desperate to play and help us end this season on a positive manner.”
