WITH Ryan Nyambe set for a spell on the sidelines we ask the Rovers fans jury who they think should come into the team.

Paul Yates

PRESUMABLY the three likely lads are Paul Caddis, Lewis Travis and Elliott Bennett.

Elliott Bennett would be playing out of position and is an attacking player with limited defensive qualities. It could also necessitate a change in team formation.

Lewis Travis is young, inexperienced and would be thrown in at the deep end of a fragile defence at a crucial time of the season.

Paul Caddis is a natural and experienced right back, so the question is; why did we give him a two year contract if we don’t play him when the need arises?

Sam Jones

ALTHOUGH he hasn’t played much football of late, Paul Caddis would be the obvious man to slot in.

After an early season injury to Ryan Nyambe, Caddis was a solid replacement and kept his place for 10 consecutive league games. He was then dropped for Nyambe, who hasn’t looked back since.

Lewis Travis is another contender who could be deployed at full-back, having played most of his games at Under-23 level in defence.

However, I think Tony Mowbray sees him as a central midfielder.
