BRADLEY Dack has been ruled out of Rovers’ trip to Walsall through illness.
The 24-year-old has starred for Rovers and had started every league game since the 1-0 defeat at Oldham Athletic on October 14.
However, the 12-goal attacker didn’t travel with the squad for the trip to the Banks’ Stadium and was replaced in the starting line-up by Jack Payne.
Rovers will hope to have Dack available for Tuesday’s trip to AFC Wimbledon while they host Wigan Athletic in a promotion battle at Ewood Park next Sunday.
His absence saw Joe Nuttall recalled to the matchday 18, while Paul Caddis returned to the squad in place of Willem Tomlinson.
Ryan Nyambe is the other change made by Tony Mowbray as he replaced Amari’i Bell who dropped to the bench as Rovers reverted to a back four.
Rovers: Raya, Nyambe, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Williams, Smallwood, Evans, Bennett, Payne, Armstrong, Graham
