DANNY Graham is experienced enough to know there will be plenty of ups and down in Rovers' quest to win promotion back to the Championship.

All of the top three sides in League One have dropped points recently, with Shrewsbury Town the new leaders.

Rovers' win at Portsmouth, coupled with Wigan losing at home to Blackpool on Tuesday, sees just one point separate the top three ahead of Shrewsbury's home game with Rotherham this afternoon.

And with only two automatic promotion spots up for grabs, there is plenty to play for.

But Graham's focus is purely on what happens at Rovers.

He said: “There are 14 games to go, plenty of twists and turns to go, so we just need to concentrate on all ourselves, training well and pulling together as a team.

“We have a lot of players coming back from injury now so the squad is going to be healthier.

“There’s been a few back training, everyone is on a high and we’re focused on the job in hand and that can only be good for everyone.”

The options available to boss Tony Mowbray are plentiful following the return to fitness of Darragh Lenihan with Marcus Antonsson and Ben Gladwin close to a comeback.

And Graham said: “He (Mowbray) has some big decisions and there are going to be some big players sitting in the stand on a matchday.

“That can only bode well for the squad, everyone has to train well and be at it because if not you’re going to be out of the squad.”

Graham, who has scored 12 goals this season including eight in his last nine home games, was part of the squad relegated to the third tier last season and the 32-year-old added: “We want to get promoted, for the few of us who were here last year we want to put that right and hopefully we can do that.”
