ROVERS boss Tony Mowbray says now is a time to focus as his side move in to their busiest period of the season.

Mowbray's side are yet to put a consistent run of form together in the first third of the season as they sit seventh in League One.

They head to Bury tomorrow in what will be their first league outing since October 31 and keen to build some momentum in a bid to finish the year on a high.

After 15 league games in as many weekends, Rovers face a schedule of 11 in their next eight which includes the crucial Christmas period.

With four of their next five League One fixtures coming away from home, Mowbray is eyeing consistency from his side as they look to make up ground on the top two.

“We’re all aware it’s a time to focus and a time to let our quality come to the fore,” Mowbray said.

“I’ve said to the team that home or away doesn’t matter, it’s just the next game and let’s approach them all in a positive mindset and go out to try and win every match.

“Every team we play it will be a big game for them, they won’t be taking it easy on any given day but we’re out there trying to win and have to set our standards really high, trust each other.

“The squad will get utilised and we have to find some consistency of results.

“As the continuity of the games come, hopefully we can find the right formula and make it a winning one to find some consistency of results.”
