BEN Marshall must continue to give his all for Blackburn Rovers, says manager Owen Coyle, who revealed he is yet to receive an offer for his services.

Marshall is out of contract in the summer and has attracted interest from former Rovers boss Paul Lambert at Wolves in the past month.

But Coyle said Rovers are yet to receive a bid for Marshall who will remain a Rovers player until at least the end of the season unless a prospective suitor comes up with a suitable bid for the 25-year-old that matches the owner’s valuation.

Marshall returned to the Rovers squad at QPR last weekend after a three game absence, and could again be included in the starting line-up at Ipswich this afternoon.

Amid speculation over the right-sided player's future, Coyle said: “There haven’t been any offers from any respective club.

“That does not mean that people aren’t having verbal chats, but there have been no written offers to discuss.

“If there was then I would be the first to tell you about that because I think it is important that we are transparent about this.

“There are two and a half weeks until the window closes so things may change, but I sat down with Ben last week because I needed an assurance as manager of this football club that while Ben was here he was going to give everything for himself, his team-mates and the club.

“He assured me that he was and I thought he played very well at QPR.

“He has to continue that form until such times until the situation changes, and if it doesn’t, then he will give his very best for Blackburn Rovers, because when all is said and done, that’s all I’m interested in.”
