What did you make of the appointment of Paul Senior as Football Director at Blackburn Rovers?
Kelvin Wilkins
THERE’S been enough people who have come and gone to be cynical about the appointment.
Many roles have been created and all have failed - understandable considering the current set-up - so I understand people being suspicious of the motives for anyone Venky’s bring in.
However, just because previous attempts at establishing some kind of order and leadership within the club have failed, doesn’t mean we should abandon hope and I applaud the continued efforts. Maybe this appointment will be the right one.
Paul Yates
HERE today, gone tomorrow! How many times are we going to have someone appointed who is going to be the “link” with the owners?
Let’s hope Mr Senior can help clear up the chaos at a dysfunctional football club where people appear to come and go on a daily basis.
Clearly Owen Coyle wasn’t consulted about the appointment and is speculating as to what the role actually involves.
We wish Paul well and hope he has a positive effect on the club before he makes his excuses and leaves in the summer.
