AMIE Fleming’s stunning strike proved to be the difference as Blackburn Rovers Ladies beat Bradford City 1-0 at Ewood Park.

The Rovers skipper provided the game’s only real moment of quality as she rifled the ball into the top corner from 30 yards out midway through the second half.

In a largely uneventful encounter, Bradford registered the game’s first shot on five minutes, but Rosie McDonnell’s effort was parried to safety by Danielle Hill.
