BLACKBURN Rovers’ red-hot striker Jordan Rhodes has been nominated for the first PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month Award.
Rhodes has scored five goals in four games during September and he will battle it out for the honour with 11 other players including Rovers old boys Nick Blackman (Reading) and Michael Keane (Burnley).
The rest of the shortlist is made up of Charlie Austin (QPR), Clayton Donaldson (Birmingham City), Ryan Fraser (Ipswich Town), Tomer Hemed (Brighton & Hove Albion), Emyr Huws (Huddersfield Town), Kike (Middlesbrough), Jamie O’Hara (Fulham), Orlando Sa (Reading) and Ross Wallace (Sheffield Wednesday).
Fans can vote for their choice, before midnight tomorrow, at www.skysports.com/pfafanvote
Sky Sports have teamed up with the PFA to be the digital platform for the awards.
