BLACKBURN Rovers remain 11 points off the play-offs after Darren Bent steppped off the bench to condemn them to defeat at the iPro Stadium tonight.

Bent opened the scoring five minutes after coming on and ended any hopes Rovers had of equalising when he took advantage of more poor defending in injury-time.

Gary Bowyer's side, who have now lost five and drawn two of their last eight Championship matches, also lost top-scorer Rudy Gestede, captain Grant Hanley and Tom Cairney to injury.
