LEADING scorer Steve Burke added to more to his tally but it was all to no avail as Dale lost in a six- goal thriller.
Kayde Coppin gave Flixton an early lead before two goals in four minutes by Burke gave Dale the lead at the break.
However, Flixton took control after the break with goals from Josh Bowman (58) and two from Tom Bailey (74, 90).
