TEN-man Padiham Reserves scored twice in extra time to secure victory over Silsden in the final of the North West Counties Reserve Division Cup.
The Storks lost Ben Hoskin, son of former Burnley player Ashley Hoskin, to a second yellow card early in extra time.
But captain Tom Bradley produced a superb 30-yard strike to break the deadlock with eight minutes of the additional period remaining at the Arbories, before Joel Melia’s fine solo effort sealed the triumph in the dying seconds.
Nathan Egan had fired a shot across the face of goal in the opening stages of the match for Chris Price’s reserve side.
Melia then had to head off the line but Egan went close again, clipping the post with a shot.
Daniel Fagan had a header cleared off the line for the Storks and Zac Dales grazed the post before Padiham claimed the trophy after a dramatic finish.
