FOILED Lee Morris is denied by Stone keeper Barry Weston
POOR FINISHING and an outstanding display by Stone Dominoes keeper Barry Weston cost Padiham any chance of getting something out of the game.
The visiting shot stopper came to the rescue of the Staffordshire side time and time again in the first half to thwart efforts from Lee Morris, Shaun Carey, Andy Sensale and Stuart Telfer to keep his side in the game.
Then on 38 minutes the inevitable happened when a long clearance was not dealt with by John Blackley leaving Shane Reaney to race away, round Sean Davis in the Storks goal to score completely against the run of play.
The visitors had a better second half but still needed the inspired Weston to make excellent saves to deny Morris and Damian Morrison.
