Rob Grimes was on target for Nelson
NELSON maintained their push for promotion in NWCL Division One with a hard-fought 3-2 win at Cheadle Town.
Robert Grimes gave the Admirals an early lead, striking in the third minute before Ben Brooks levelled for the hosts just after the half hour mark.
However, Cheadle were only on level terms for three minutes as Lydon Hodgkiss gave Nelson a 2-1 half time lead.
Grimes made it 3-1 with 10 minutes left and Nelson hung on after Joseph Armstrong made it 3-2 with seven minutes left.
