A WONDER goal by Ryan Steele gave AFC Darwen a deserved point but it was a match the visitors could have won.
Tim Drugan gave Darwen a lead when he headed home a free kick floated in to the area.
They could have doubled their lead but Ben Stanford mishit when well placed.
Villa levelled just before the break when Kwame Barnet beat the offside trap and James Marshall fired them ahead just before the hour mark.
But Steele drew Darwen level when he curled home a wonderful shot from 30 yards before Bobby Langford fired over from close range.
