AFC Darwen let a 3-0 lead slip as they were beaten by Kinsley Boys in the second qualifying round of the FA Vase.
Darwen had a three-goal advantage after only 25 minutes at the Anchor Ground, with Ryan Steele putting them in front in the fourth minute.
Steve Lee then netted twice to seemingly put the North West Counties First Division side in total command against Kinsley, a Central Midlands League side from near Wakefield.
But Craig Rouse pulled a goal back in the 29th minute and the same man made it 3-2 six minutes before half time.
Kinsley were then level in the 47th minute as Sam Garforth netted.
Steele hit the bar for Darwen as they looked to restore their lead, but the match finished 3-3 after 90 minutes.
That meant extra time and Kinsley claimed victory in the 108th minute as Calum Stapleton found the net.
