NELSON got off to the perfect start but still slipped to their 12th defeat of the season.
Lyndon Hodgkiss gave high-flying Eccleshall a real shock when he fired Nelson in to a second minute lead.
And it was a lead they held until 18 minutes from time when Josh Lane levelled from the penalty spot before Karl Williams scored Eccleshall’s winner in the 83rd minute.
