COLNE snatched the points with a dramatic late winner in an action packed game at League leaders Runcorn Linnets. The Reds took a shock lead after only five minutes when Tom Berwick lobbed the keeper from 30 yards before Jason Hart then added a second.
Runcorn pulled one back through Adam Wade in the 28th minute but Berwick regained Colne’s two-goal advantage with a goal four minutes later.
Linnets, who played the entire second half with 10 men after Anthony Hickey was sent off before made it 3-2 thanks to a Mark Houghton penalty.
And they were level seven minutes later when Houghton headed home.
But Colne carved out one last chance and Coyne’s cross to the far post was knocked home by Berwick.
