THE Rams bowed out of the NWCL League Cup against lower league opposition Norton United who have yet to lose a game in Division One.
Grant Spencer gave the Rams an 11th minute lead but goals from Lee Talbot (28) and Richard Smith (31) put Norton 2-1 up at the break.
And that lead was extended when Paul Rutter made it 3-1, early after that the break.
Ryan Moore pulled one back for the Rams in the 75th minute. Spencer came close to equalising but Norton held on to reach the semi-finals.
