FIRST half goals by Mark Ayres and Lee Gaskell guided Ramsbottom in to the next round of the League Challenge Cup as they ran out winners at Winsford United.
It was the second victory for the Rams over Winsford this season having beaten them by the same scoreline in the league back in September.
Ramsbottom are chasing glory on two fronts and are currently in second place in the NWCL Premier Division.
