RAMSBOTTOM United travel to Blyth Spartans this evening looking to pick up their first win in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division since November 22.
Jon Robinson’s side are now winless in seven league games after losing 2-1 at Witton Albion on Saturday afternoon and sit three points above the relegation zone having picked up just two points since they last tasted domestic success against Grantham Town.

However, the Rams do have as many as seven matches in hand on teams below them in the table, starting with their trip to the North East.
With 10 games to play in March, it is imperative for Robinson and his men to accumulate points quickly to move away from the drop zone before the chaotic fixture list begins to take its toll on the squad.
Cup giantkillers Blyth are in 12th place, seven points better off than the Rams.
