AFC Darwen are in North West Counties League Challenge Cup second round tie action as they go to Norton United, while Ramsbottom United and Barnoldswick Town aim to maintain their push for honours in the Premier League.

They are right on the heels of leaders Bootle – and Barlick host the Merseysiders at the Silentnight Stadium in the day’s standout fixture.

Rammy are at home to AFC Liverpool in another key clash, while Padiham go to Alsager Town and Bacup Borough travel to Ashton Athletic.

Colne visit Congleton and in the the First Division Nelson travel to Atherton Collieries.
