Clitheroe sign Altrincham player Matt Fearon on loan

CLITHEROE boss Carl Garner has signed the captain of the youth team at Altrincham on loan – and is looking to add more new faces to his Shawbridge ranks.

Garner has captured 18-year-old Matt Fearon on a month’s loan from the Blue Square Bet North Robins.

The defender can also play in midfield.

Garner has also put seven days notice on an unnamed player from a division rival.
