EVO-STIK Northern Premier League First Division North club Clitheroe suffered a blow when highly-rated goalkeeper Josh Ollerenshaw was called back by League Two parent club Fleetwood Town as cover over the festive period.
However, Clitheroe boss Simon Garner moved quickly to get a replacement in Adam Reid from Skrill North side Altrincham on a month’s loan.
Previously with Accrington Stanley, Merseyside-based Reid signed Conference forms for Alty in August 2011 and made his first-team debut in the Cheshire Senior Cup in November, 2011 and his first league start came against Harrogate in January 2012.
Having been on the bench without getting on the pitch in 2012/13, Reid went on loan to Goole AFC and had two spells at Prescot Cables before making his move to Shawbridge.
