CHORLEY let a two-goal lead slip as they lost 3-2 at home to Guiseley in the Conference North play-off final.

Garry Flitcroft’s side led 2-0 at half time thanks to goals from Andy Teague and Paul Jarvis.

But Guiseley came back in the second half at Victory Park, with Nicky Boshell scoring the winner 11 minutes from time.

The Magpies were ahead only five minutes into the game when captain Teague headed home Dale Whitham's corner.

It was 2-0 in the 23rd minute as Jarvis beat three defenders and then found the net with the aid of a slight deflection.

But Guiseley halved the deficit 11 minutes after the interval when Adam Boyes prodded the ball past keeper Sam Ashton after latching on to a through ball.

Chorley's advantage was then wiped out in the 73rd minute as Liam Dickinson headed in an equaliser.

Boshell tapped in the winner for Guiseley six minutes later after good work from Boyes, to deny Chorley promotion to the Conference.
