Burnley complete Porter signing

BURNLEY have completed the signing of winger George Porter from Leyton Orient.

The 20-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Clarets.

Porter was out of contract at Leyton Orient but the League One side will still be entitled to a fee because he is under the age of 24.

The two clubs are currently in discussions over a fee. Should they be unable to agree, it would go to a tribunal.

Another unknown who probably hasn't cost us much. Don't tell me he probably played for Bournemouth youth under Eddie Howe. Could this pave the way for Wednesday to come in for Treacy ? I'd feel a lot more comfortable if by Friday we managed to bring in a quality centr-half, a quality striker and a quality attacking mid- fielder. Let's not kid ourselves this is never going to happen. It is alright saying these youngsters are one for the future but the at this rate the club may not have a future regarding promotion because if we do unearth a "gem" one thing is for sure with this board : WE WILL SELL HIM. and we will need to do so if Jay Rodreguiz is anything to go by.

Yeh are team is in a state with owners and a manager that we dont want and are both inept at the job they are doing but given both squads at the moment, i know which one looks more capable of promotion and i think my friend if you cannot agree with that then you are a bigger liar than our owners and managment and are just fooling yourself.
