KEITH Treacy is an injury doubt for Burnley’s home game against Peterborough on Saturday after a back problem forced him off at Nottingham Forest in midweek.
Treacy was replaced in the first half of Tuesday’s match and his fitness will be assessed in the next couple of days.
Eddie Howe was not completely ruling out Martin Paterson returning from a hamstring injury, although it remains to be seen if this game will come too soon for the forward.
Danny Ings may not quite be ready on his way back from knee surgery.
“We’ve got a few tired bodies from Tuesday and a few injury worries,” Howe said.
“Keith came off with his back, we’re not sure how serious that is at the moment.
“Pato’s coming along well and making really good progress.
“I’m waiting to see whether he may be involved and Danny Ings has just got to get his return to action right, we don’t want to rush him.”
