Young Burnley forward Alex MacDonald has clinched a loan move to Plymouth Argyle.
The Scotland under-21 international has joined the League Two side on an emergency loan deal until March 6.
The move to Home Park to join the Pilgrims' battle against relegation will give MacDonald a welcome chance of first-team football.
The 21-year-old has made one senior start for the Clarets this season in their Carling Cup tie at Cardiff City, as well has half a dozen appearances off the bench.
MacDonald's switch to Plymouth means a third loan move away from Turf Moor following earlier spells with Falkirk and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
